Don’t Take My Word For It; Dane Cook on the Power of the Internet

I’ve been preaching the gospel of the Internet for some time now. Many of my peers have balked at my rants about how the “net is changing the world” and all that stuff, and I’m fine with that. I don’t expect anybody to fully understand what’s going on as much as I do (especially with all the damn reading I do everyday!). So, it’s nice to see a celebrity figures such as Dane Cook tell you kids straight up that the reason he’s such a success us because of self-promotion online. Future celebrities will become figures in a similar fashion, including myself (I’m calling it now!) Dane also makes a point in the full article from Wired that someday very soon people will change the channels on their television sets from CBS to ABC to MySpace. It’s gonna happen folks, so better get on the train to the future before it’s too late.

Gotta Give Bill a Shout Out

I thought I’d give a shout out to my main man Bill Slawaski and his SEO by the Sea blog, voted one of the top 5 seach marketing blogs out there by Pandia Search Engine News. Bill has helped me become more confident in pursuing a career in this wacky biz and consistently impresses me with his wealth of knowledge. Congrats, dude.

We Are All Celebrities
