Those who have been following my blog for a long time no that originally, Evolvor.com was just another run-of-the-mill internet marketing blog. About 3 months after I started blogging, I began to feature some music related content to liven the place up.

It was after one of my pieces hit the Digg homepage that I decided to mesh my marketing coverage with the music industry and the rest, they say, is history.

That being said, I’d like to share with you an awesome resource that I found recently that deals more with the creation, recording, and production of your music: AudioTuts, brought to you by the Envato Network (authors of such wonderful productivity blogs like FreelanceSwitch.com). The site is chock full of great tutorials to help you create better music!

Get over there and subscribe to their RSS feed - you never know when you’re going to pick up on a new writing or recording technique that could make or break a song you’ve created.

A recent post caught my eye as a wanna-be singer and lyricist: 50 Great Lyric Writing Resources

As I get more involved with every aspect of the music industry (from the business side to the creative side) working with my clients and my own musical projects, I’ll continue to hook you up with resources that I feel will help your careers, and hope you’ll share your favorite inspirations as well.

Do you have any sites that you currently frequent that help inspire you in the creative process? Please drop a link in the comments if you do!
