I’m a sucker for Christmas and Pearl Jam, so it’s only fitting that I would love this cover.

“Someday At Christmas” has been previously performed by The Jackson 5 and Stevie Wonder. Pearl Jam’s version appeared on their 2004 Christmas Single; which members of the 10 Club receive annually.

“Someday At Christmas” was already a classic, but having Pearl Jam put their spin on it is just awesome.

Honestly, I can’t stop listening to it.

    Listening to it right now. It’s a bit poppy no. I like Ed’s voice in it obviously. But, it does sound a little like something that may be in that movie Love Actually. :)

    Oh yeah, it’s real poppy; that’s why I like it. I think sometimes Pearl Jam doesn’t mind venturing into the world of pop. I think “Betterman” is extremely poppy and so is their cover of “Last Kiss”.

    Ed’s voice is awesome in “Someday At Christmas” and I also love that funky riff McCready does.

    Oh boy, I can’t believe you referenced Love Actually.

    Is Love Actually too dorky? Am I even less cool now. Maybe I should do guilty pleasure movies. :D
    If it makes you feel better my favorite movie is cool — it just happens to be one that no one on earth has seen.

    I swear it’s not porn. It’s great but no one I know has heard of it. EVER. Drives me nuts.

    Ok seriously, I have heard of it. I am so not kidding you.

    I’ve probably even seen at some point, but I can not recall the plot.

    No way! It’s an indie. It has Eric Stoltz and Meg Tilly. They get married but his best friend falls for her. Sound simple but it was shot in like little scenes with each written by different people and Quitnen Tarentino (Sp?) does a killer cameo speech about Top Gun. That’s about all I can say. If you don’t remember then maybe you didn’t like it :( Still, on the upside you have heard of it.

    I probably don’t remember it because I’ve seen too many movies too name…I used to be a movie buff, lol.

    I’ll have to see if I can rent it somewhere. I mean any movie with a Tarantino rant is a good one.
