Just got this email from the folks at SNOCAP that is good news - I never understood the need for a fee in the first place.

We are pleased to announce that effective immediately we are waiving the $30 annual fee for the SNOCAP basic service. That’s right… bye, bye annual fee!

So now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, get out there and start marketing your music!

With SNOCAP’s basic service you can:
• Use your SNOCAP MyStore to sell your music on MySpace, ReverbNation, Shoutlife,
Hip Hop Crackspace, and any website that you control.
• Get paid for streams of your music on imeem, the world’s fastest growing social media
network.
• Have your tracks be part of the SNOCAP Digital Registry which now contains over 6 million
tracks (that’s bigger than iTunes!). Being part of our digital registry means that you are ready
to go when we bring on new distribution partners to help you spread your music and get paid.
