I know, I know - it’s been almost a week since my last post. But between getting the Cureforwhatalesyou.com bus trip together, juggling too many projects, and planning for a two week trip to see my family up north, I’ve been all over the place. Luckily, I’ve had the smooth sounds of the John Mayer Trio to keep me chill and in check.

Many think of Mayer as that pretty boy pop superstar from his hits like “Body Is A Wonderland” and other panty wetters from a few years back. Well, after that first album, Mayer really plugged the guitars in and started to really find his bluesy side, especially in 2005 when he went on tour with some fellow blues musicians and recorded a live album as the “John Mayer Trio”.

Here is a live performance of the song Vultures from that tour (a fully recorded version is available on his latest album “Continuum“.
