Widgets are everywhere, but are about to become an even bigger deal now that companies like Amazon and Google are rolling out programs to use widgets to advertise products.

Why is this important? Because these programs are accessible to pretty much anyone. It’s not hard to sign up to either of these programs, create an account, place ads on your site, and start making ad revenue.

That’s why it’s so damn important to create content and resources on your website. These will generate more traffic, which means more ad revenue.

And now we have really interactive widget ads that look amazing, our more interactive, and hopefully will convert into more purchases. We’ll have to see.

Amazon Widgets is ready to roll. Google’s Gadget Ads are in closed beta but should start popping up in no time.

Here’s a quick Amazon Widget I put together: (Widget may take time to load!)

Widget isn’t loading properly. I’ve contacted Amazon Customer Service to see what the deal is!
