It’s Getting Hot In Here! Latest Music Marketing Developments

SO MUCH is going on here, I can barely manage to keep on top of things…and that’s a good thing. Just more for me to share with all of those out there looking for a few pretty cool ways to jump on the online marketing bandwagon and realize that you can sure as hell put the petal to the metal and get your talents out there.

Crown Victoria - Face to Face

Just got back in town after spending the night in Dirty Jers to see two emerging local bands. In evolvor.com’s early days, we used Adsense and the banner programs they offered, which would offer “targeted” ads based on a blog post or article’s content. Targeted my ass. The ads were piss poor and made my site silly.

Is MySpace All That? A Guide to Marketing Your Music On Myspace

I’ve been in the music marketing game for a little while now, and have conversations everyday with people about all the things that need to be done to get your music heard and albums sold. The only thing I ever hear back from musicians is MySpace this, MySpace that.

Silverchair - Straight Lines

Have had the song stuck in my head all weekend.
