Apologies for not posting for an entire week, but sometimes us bloggers need time away to reflect on life a little bit. I have been doing just that.

beach.jpgI turned 25 last Friday, which I think is probably an age where you sit back and look at what you have accomplished so far. Combined with the fact that I’ve spent the week at the beach (which, combined with various narcotics, is a great place to reflect on things), you’ll understand why I haven’t had the time to post.

That doesn’t mean I haven’t been working; on the contrary, I have been very busy, and some very major developments in various aspects of my little company emerged, almost eureka-style, I-can’t-believe-this-is-happening moments. Sometimes you need to get away and spend a week on the phone with all your people, tell them how awesome they are, point out their accomplishments, and let them know you love them. Okay the last part may not go over well with some, but you get my drift. Nothing motivates people more than knowing what they are doing is kick-ass.

We’ve got the new evolvor.com poster girl, discussed with old friends about promoting their band 61 North, improved design at our craft beer site, and watched our very own Albert Costill build up a fantastic rock music blog.

If you had asked me 10 years ago if I’d be involved with any of these projects, let alone even one of them, I’d say you be nuts.

Here’s to the nest 25.

Look how sentimental you are in your old age. Thanks for the plug too.
