My buddy Alan Coffey, one of my biggest supporters, shot my this story from NPR about Ingrid Michaelson, an unsigned music talent who was discovered through MySpace and now has had songs on successful shows such as Grey’s Anatomy. Sure, there’s more to marketing your music then just having a MySpace page, but it’s the first step to changing your career, as Ingrid points out in her Interview.

If no one has gotten the opportunity to hear it yet, Spinner.com is streaming the brand new Smashing Pumpkins single, Tarantula. The single is simple, straightforward early 90’s rock sounding, far different then the techno-y sounding albums that came out towards the end of the decade. Being a 90’s rock junkie, I couldn’t be any happier with what I’m hearing.
