I’ve begun doing some research on other bloggers who are focused on marketing musicians on the web. The top spot for “music marketing” in Google led me to Mr. Bob Baker.
Bob is an artist, musician, and author who has done a lot of work teaching others how to promote themselves both on and off-line. He has written several books on the subject matter as well. His site is a must-read if you’re trying to market your art or music. Between his books, podcasts, and two + years of blogging, there’s plenty of content to learn from.
I can tell Bob knows his stuff, as his site is up-to-date in many Web2.0 marketing techniques, which impressed me. Keep up the good work Bob (just be on the lookout for me!)

I have no doubt you will catch him in the rankings soon.
To be honest, I’d feel bad if I did. He’s been doing this for quite some time and has way more experience than I do. I’ll settle for number 2!
