I’m proud to introduce a new member (officially) of the Evolvor Media network. I only give shout outs to a member when they show a certain amount of consistency in posting to their blog. While this one in particular is only about a week and a half old, the author has provided some great resources and is displaying a natural ability to write well, cite sources, and speak in an engaging and human voice.

Staci Jess is an early childhood education major and her website, The Demeter School, provides a focus on early childhood development. With hopes of opening her own daycare center someday, we have worked on building her site to provide resources about infant, toddler, and preschool development to parents and teachers on the web as a way of showcasing Staci’s ongoing knowledge on the subject matter in an area where reputation and documentation are very important.

Her site is the first in many here at Evolvor that focuses on building a blog/website for use in building careers. Many young students do not realize the importance on reputation management on the Internet. Staci has taken the first step in that process by focusing her online activities to subject matter related to her career.

Hopefully, after building an online reputation as an early childhood education expert, she can build on that success when going into the daycare business. Her ability to market herself, gain media attention, gather suffecient funding, and obtain clients and customers will be far easier than if she decided to tackle these obstacles without an online credential such as her blog.
