Does Your Blog Allow Comments ?

I found out a few weeks ago that my Wordpress comment setting only allowed users who were registered to comment on my posts. Big mistake, as this usually turns many off from commenting on posts. When you start a blog, always have others check these kinds of things for you, as they can be easily overlooked. I’ll admit that I’m not perfect and feel like a big dufus for this one, but then again, I tend to let things on my own blog slip while testing out my clients sites the rest of the day. Just a tip to encourage more comments on your own blogs; make it easy to post a comment, but make sure you’re backed up with comment spam tools like Akismet to ensure your comments are the real deal.
