My first taste of Mobile Marketing: Yahoo Mobile

Mobile marketing is something I have not really had the time to check out, and I believe it’s still very early to see how it will pan out. I did however get a little taste today when trying to text message someone from the internet. I tried to use Nextel.com but of course they only let you text to other customers. ended up at Yahoo Mobile, which allowed my to send a message of a few lines (which I needed to do and didn’t feel like trying to type out on my phone). This saved me time. I then sent a test to my phone and within seconds, boom it was there. Because my Yahoo ID is evolvordotcom, I saw before my eyes the marketing potential, even if it’s just within my circle of people. Best of all, it’s a free service. Try it out for yourself.
