From Andy Beal/C-Net: Google has officially opened it’s new offices in NYC. One must wonder what long-term plans Google may have in possibly setting up a Wi-Fi network (read:free Wi-Fi) similar to the one set-up in it’s home of Mountain View, CA. Not that you can’t already find free Wi-Fi in parts of the city, but it’s probably in Google’s pipeline. I think this offical transition to NYC just shows how big Google has become in regards to being more than just a search engine.
